Roderick Johnson, Florida State’s standout left tackle, announced that he will enter the 2017 NFL Draft.
We hear from more and more top college juniors every day as we inch towards the draft declaration deadline, and coming off of the Orange Bowl win over Michigan a few weeks ago, Johnson has decided to make the leap to the next level.
Florida State announced Johnson’s decision this afternoon.

CBS Sports ranks Johnson No. 4 among offensive tackles, and a potential first or second round pick in the April draft. A relatively weak draft at his position could allow him to jump into the first round, and at 6-foot-6, 308 pounds, he certainly fits the size profile of a solid NFL tackle.
