UNC vs. FSU preview
After getting trounced in humiliating fashion by Louisville, the Seminoles regained some confidence with a 55-35 win over USF. The defense still has some question marks, but the offense appears to finally be firing on full cylinders, as Dalvin Cook rushed for a career-high 267 yards and two touchdowns.
The Tar Heels are coming off an incredible 37-36 rallying win over Pitt, with their QB Mitch Trubisky throwing for 453 yards and five touchdowns. They trailed by 13 with six minutes left, and scored the winning touchdown with :02 remaining in the game. If Trubisky can replicate that type of elite performance against a suspect FSU defense, an upset is definitely possible.
UNC vs. FSU prediction:
The Seminoles and the Tar Heels have two of the most explosive offenses in the country, and I'm expecting a shootout. This matchup could come down to a stop or two by the defenses, as both teams have proven they can score at will, and the defensive edge goes to the Seminoles. For that reason, I think the Seminoles take this game, but it's close the entire way.
