We already had one upset in Nashville today. We could get another.
No. 7 seed Nevada took down No. 2 seed Cincinnati in the West Region earlier. It was an epic comeback if you missed it.
Now, ninth-seeded Florida State has given Xavier, the top seed in the West, all it can handle through one half.
The Seminoles trail the Musketeers by two at intermission, 34-32. A 5-0 spurt by Xavier in the final 20 seconds put the favorites back in the lead.
FSU had a 3 point lead in the final seconds, but trail 34-32 at halftime against Xavier. #Noles give up a 3-pointer and bad foul, a 5-point swing, to end the half. Xavier was on a 9-min FG drought before the swing.

Xavier’s top scorer, guard Trevon Bluiett, has scored only two points in the first 20 minutes. They came on a pair of free throws with one second remaining.
If the Musketeers are going to survive, they will need more out of Bluiett in the second half. Otherwise, they’ll become the second No. 1 seed to go home in the first weekend.
Braian Angola leads the ‘Noles with 10 points at halftime. J.P. Macura has 10 for Xavier.
