Video: Florida State Freshman Safety Derwin James Bench Presses Nearly Twice His Weight

Some college football players get the "freak" label from the moment they step on campus, and FSU true freshman safety Derwin James is one of those guys.

Once the No. 1 rated safety - and No. 5 overall player - in the 2015 recruiting class, James is pushing himself and fighting for a starting role as a freshman in an already loaded FSU secondary. And with the hard work he has been putting in, the 6-foot-2, 212-pound defensive back is already bench pressing nearly twice his weight.

Yeah, 405 pounds for a freshman defensive back is crazy. Look out, ACC ball carriers.
