Where Is The NFL Draft This Year?

For the first time since 1964, the NFL Draft will not take place in New York City. This past year, league commissioner Roger Goodell made the decision to instead hold the event in Chicago, Illinois, for 2015. The NFL decided on the Auditorium Theatre, a venue that was originally built in 1889 and renovated back in 1967. The building usually holds musicals and theatrical performances, and has a capacity of just under 4,000 seats.

2015 also marks the first year since 2005 that the event will not be held at New York City's Radio City Music Hall.

The event is set to begin this upcoming Thursday at 8:00 PM ET and wrap up some time Saturday night. It will be broadcast on both the NFL Network and ESPN.
