The Clemson Tigers are continuing to dominate ACC-rival Florida State on and off the field. On the early signing day, Clemson secured the highest-rated recruiting class in the ACC - and one day later, they're continuing to beat the Seminoles for top prospects.

On Thursday, four-star guard William Putnam officially committed signed for Clemson, snubbing Florida State in the process.

Putnam is a top-100 prospect. He is rated by 247Sports as the No. 4 guard in the country, and the No. 11 prospect in the state of Florida.

247Sports' Crystal Ball Predictions had Putnam's destination down to either Clemson (74-percent) or Florida State (26-percent).

His official visits were to Clemson, Florida State, and Auburn.

The addition of Putnam will further improve a Clemson 2019 class that already had 26 prior signees. The class now consists of two 5-star recruits, 11 4-star recruits, and another 14 3-star recruits.

Florida State, on the other hand, has 19 recruits with 14 signed letters of intent.

247Sports ranks Clemson's class as No. 5 in the country as of writing, while Florida State's is No. 14.
