Willie Taggart's seat was warm heading into their season opener, but now it's hot after a loss to Boise State.

The Florida State head coach went 5-7 in 2018. But optimism was high heading into 2019. It seemed for a moment that FSU was getting back on track.

The Seminoles jumped out to a 31-16 halftime lead on Saturday. The Broncos appeared completely out-matched in the first half. But they never gave up.

Boise State stormed back in the second half, led by a tough, aggressive defensive attack. The Broncos went on to win the game 36-31.

College football fans have taken to social media to discuss Taggart and FSU's second half meltdown.

Landry Locker, radio host for Sports Radio 610, is just one of many to call out FSU's head coach.

Others took a more humorous approach to the situation, but still critiqued FSU's head coach.

Taggart is now 5-8 during his time with the Seminoles. If he can hang on to his job until next week, he'll have a chance to bounce back against Louisiana-Monroe.

Will Florida State retain Taggart in hopes that he can right the ship?
