The No. 19 Kentucky Wildcats will face the No. 9 North Carolina Tar Heels on Saturday in the CBS Sports Classic. With both teams looking to prove their worth early in the season, it should be the game of the year so far.

After losing to Seton Hall in overtime two weekends ago, Kentucky rebounded well with a convincing win over Utah. However, this upcoming game presents the toughest challenge, since the season opener against the Duke Blue Devils.

Despite losing to Texas and Michigan back in November, the Tar Heels made an emphatic statement last Saturday, defeating the Gonzaga Bulldogs by 13 points.

The Tar Heels rely heavily on Nassir Little, Cam Johnson and Luke Maye, meanwhile the Wildcats depend on Reid Travis, Keldon Johnson and PJ Washington to provide the offensive production.

Kentucky and North Carolina will tip off at 5:30 p.m. ET from the United Center.

Most contests between these prestigious programs come down to the wire, and that trend should continue tomorrow afternoon.

The game will be on CBS with Brad Nessler and Bill Raftery calling the action.
