Coaching in college basketball can be a grind. You work long hours, travel a lot and can be away from your family for extended periods of time.

The spring may be the offseason, but its prime recruiting time. Coaches spend their weekends scouring the country evaluating and courting top prospects. Louisville's Chris Mack will be one of them.

Mack is well-aware of the duties of a college head coach. So is his family.

Perhaps that's why Mack's 11-year-old daughter decided to leave an adorable note for her dad, presumably before he heads out on the road.

"I may not see you in a while so I just wanted to say, I really love you and miss you a lot," the note read. "Hopefully we will see each other soon. I will make sure to text you! I could never ask for a better dad. You truly inspire me and make me want to do things that I would never think of doing without you. You are a great dad!"

Mack shared the note on Twitter.

That is absolutely precious.

Hopefully Mack gets to hang with his daughter and his family soon.
