After losing two of their first eight games, the Kentucky Wildcats finished 2018 strong with a decisive win over in-state rival Louisville.
John Calipari’s team won the game 71-58 with help from a 24-point performance from freshman guard Tyler Herro, and another 15 points from freshman forward Keldon Johnson.
Coach Cal’s daughter, Megan, certainly seemed satisfied with the win.
She took to Twitter after the game to express her delight in the Wildcats’ win.

The win brings the Wildcats to 10-2 on the season, and has them on a three-game winning streak heading into 2019.
Since losing in overtime to Seton Hall earlier this month, Calipari’s side has rebounded with solid wins over Utah, No. 3 North Carolina, and Louisville.
Despite the two losses, Kentucky are still in the top-three in the SEC behind No. 19 Mississippi State (12-1) and No. 3 Tennessee (11-1), but could see a rise in the rankings soon.
Kentucky’s SEC schedule will begin on January 5 against Alabama at Coleman Coliseum in Tuscaloosa.
