Former Big 12 Defensive Player Of The Year Devonte Fields To Visit Louisville

In 2012, TCU defensive end Devonte Fields had an incredible freshman campaign, recording 10 sacks and 18.5 tackles for loss en route to being named Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year. The following year, Fields missed the majority of the season with an injury, and left TCU ahead of the 2014 season after ugly domestic violence accusations. Fields was originally slated to play at FCS Stephen F. Austin this year, but instead wound up at Trinity Valley Community Valley College, and now has his sights at a return to major conference play.

Fields obviously brings a lot of off-field concerns, but also immense talent to Louisville's stout defense. We'll how this visit plays out, as it could make waves in the ACC.
