A few months ago, former Louisville guard Kevin Ware hinted on Twitter that he plans on attending Georgia State in the fall after announcing that he would transfer. Ware has since transferred, and yesterday, he received a piece of good news: he will be eligible to play at Georgia State this year.
According to a press release put out by the university, Panthers head coach Ron Hunter was excited to add Ware, and credited the NCAA, Louisville and the people at Georgia State who helped make this possible. As you can guess, Ware was also pretty excited about the good news.
Ware played in nine games last year and averaged 1.7 points per contest before deciding to take a medical redshirt as he recovered from the broken leg he suffered in the 2013 NCAA Tournament.
