There’s a new star player emerging in the SEC. Kentucky’s Lynn Bowden is a do-it-all, swiss-army knife type of player for the Wildcats. The QB had a huge game against Louisville on Saturday in a 45-13 Wildcats’ victory.
Rivalry games bring out high tensions throughout the week – that’s evidenced throughout the games and post-game media sessions. Following the win, Bowden had a typical rivalry message for Louisville.
“It’s forever Ls down,” he said on SEC Network.
Bowden …. “it’s forever L’s down” in SEC Network post game interview.

Bowden’s adding insult to injury here. Kentucky’s play on the field did all of the talking in this rivalry contest. But Bowden wanted one final last word regarding the hatred between the two schools.
The Kentucky QB was dominant on the field on Saturday. Bowden completed just one pass for just four yards, but ran the ball 22 times for a whopping 284 yards and four touchdowns. As previously stated, Bowden’s a new star emerging in college football.
As a team, Kentucky’s rushing attack could not be stopped by the Cardinals on Saturday. The Wildcats had 517 total rushing yards and six touchdowns. It’s one of the best rushing performances by any team this season.
Kentucky is now 7-5, 3-5 in the SEC. The Wildcats will now await to hear which bowl game they will be playing in, and who they’ll be playing against.
