Don't worry, college basketball fans. We aren't here to show you footage or photos from former Louisville player Kevin Ware's horrific 2013 NCAA Tournament injury. Once was enough.
But Thursday, Ware took to Twitter to reminisce (if you can call it that) about the incident. Ware, who suffered a compound fracture of his leg during his team's Elite Eight contest against Duke, joked that he "broke" the Internet as well. Ware eventually returned to Louisville during the 2013-2014 season, but later transferred to Georgia State.
It's great to see that Ware has a sense of humor about the injury - even though it was likely a very traumatic experience. It's pretty cool that he was able to return to college basketball and finish out his career without further incident.
