Louisville continues to move on from the Rick Pitino era following the FBI investigation into widespread corruption in college basketball.
Pitino is currently on unpaid administrative leave, and it is largely expected that he will be fired when Louisville can do so without setting off contract clauses that are extremely lucrative for the Cardinals head coach.
Assistant coaches Kenny Johnson and Jordan Fair were also placed on paid leave, while David Padgett was handed the reins to the team.
Now, Fair is out.

It’s unclear why his fate has been decided while Johnson still hangs in the balance, but there is clearly a lot going on in the background at all of the schools impacted so far.
As always, we will continue to update as more comes out about this wide-reaching scandal.
