True Freshman Quarterback Lamar Jackson Listed As Lone Starter For Louisville

Louisville is one of many power conference teams that entered the season with uncertainty at quarterback, but after a competitive game against SEC power Auburn in week one, Bobby Petrino appears to has his guy. True freshman Lamar Jackson is listed atop the Cardinals' depth chart heading into a tough week two game against Houston, and Petrino confirmed that he will start.

Jackson, who comes to Louisville from Florida, split reps with sophomore Reggie Bonnafon against Auburn. Bonnafon was the more accurate thrower in the game, but neither was efficient through the air, and Jackson added another dimension with his legs:

Next week's game against Houston will not be easy at all, but the Cougars don't have the athletes that Auburn does, or coordinator Will Muschamp. Jackson will be interesting to watch on Saturday.
