Chris Mack is on the board. He just picked up his first commitment at Louisville.

It is a good one too. Four-star shooting guard Josh Nickelberry announced his commitment to the Cardinals moments ago.

Nickelberry plays for Fayetteville (N.C.) Northwood Temple Academy. He is the No. 6 shooting guard in the 2019 class, per 247Sports' Composite Rankings.

Nickelberry is also the No. 55 player in the class, per 247's Composite.

He picked Louisville over Virginia Tech, Auburn, Florida State and others.

Louisville's recruiting has been hampered by the uncertainty surrounding the NCAA investigation. That's been a bit of a cloud around the program.

However, it shouldn't be long before Mack reels in more blue chip prospects.
