Michigan's Spike Albrecht Destroyed Louisville In The First Half Tonight

Who is this kid?

If I told you that one of Michigan's players was absolutely going off in the first half of tonight's NCAA title game against Louisville, you'd probably assume it was AP Player of the Year Trey Burke. No? How about freshman phenom Mitch McGary, or NBA-bound Tim Hardaway Jr? Nope. It's Spike Albrecht - a kid averaging 1.8 points per game this season.

Albrecht, a freshman who only had one other D-1 offer (Appalachian State) and had to be personally recommended by the aforementioned McGary, scored 17 points, going 4-of-4 from 3-point land.

Michigan leads 38-37 at the half - it should be a great finish to a great college basketball season.
