Report: Louisville Signs 5-Year, $40-Million Deal With Adidas
Louisville has enjoyed unprecedented athletic success the past few years. It's no surprise that adidas wants to make sure it locks up the Cardinals for the foreseeable future. ESPN's Brett McMurphy is reporting that Louisville and adidas have agreed to a five-year, $40 million dollar deal that keeps the school with the apparel manufacturer through 2018-2019.

The deal comes ahead of the Cardinals' move to the ACC, which is slated for July 1st. As McMurphy mentions, the contract is the third-most expensive in collegiate athletics.
