Report: Penn Basketball Star Tony Hicks To Transfer To Louisville For Final Season

Louisville has been a popular destination for transfers recently, with Damion Lee and Trey Lewis leading the Cardinals in scoring after joining the program this season. Next year, Rick Pitino's program will add another talented veteran scorer in Penn's Tony Hicks, according to a report by Card Chronicle.

Card Chronicle has learned that Tony Hicks, a 6'2 guard who was Pennsylvania's leading scorer in each of the past two seasons, plans to transfer to Louisville to play his final season of college basketball. Hicks will graduate from Penn in May and then enroll at U of L this summer, following the same path that Trey Lewis and Damion Lee took heading into this season.

A Hicks tweet from earlier this evening seems to confirm the report.

Hicks led the Quakers in scoring each of the last three seasons, topping out at 14.9 points per game in 2013-14. He is sitting out this season to preserve his final year of eligibility.
