Rick Pitino has been out of the spotlight mostly since he was dismissed by Louisville last fall. If you thought he was going away completely though, you have it all wrong.

Pitino announced tonight that in addition to his upcoming book--which is due out in early September--he is going to be starting a podcast and creating a Twitter account.

Yes, you read that correctly. It seems like in his time away from the game, Pitino is turning into a millennial.

Considering Pitino left Louisville in the midst of multiple scandals, this might seem like a strange idea. Joining Twitter could especially backfire for him.

At the very least though, it might provide for some entertainment. Expect Pitino's mentions to be on fire once he activates his account.

As for his podcast, what is the format going to be like? Is he planning to get guests, or just feature himself?

We have a lot of questions.
