The Louisville coach has made a bold claim about this year's team.
Kentucky's men's basketball team has dominated the first round of the NBA Draft in recent seasons.
Rick Pitino thinks Louisville could do the same this upcoming season.
The Cardinals' head coach told Scout.com that he thinks he has "five or six" potential first-round picks on his team this year.
Pitino will have one of his deepest and most talented teams in 2017, led by juniors Deng Adeland Ray Spalding. Senior Anas Mahmoud, plus VJ King, Brian Bowen and Malik Williams are among their highest rated NBA prospects.
"I think I have five potential, legitimate NBA first round prospects on my team," Pitino said. "Five or six. They are young and I want them to have the pressure of being seen by a bunch of pro scouts."
Louisville is projected by most to be one of the country's best teams this season. The Cardinals came in at No. 6 in ESPN's early preseason top 25.
