CB TJ Jallow, 2017 3-Star Recruit, Decommits From Louisville

CB TJ Jallow, 2017 3-star recruit, announced his decommitment from Louisville this afternoon on Twitter.

TJ Jallow, who currently plays for East Mississippi Community College, announced he would be reopening his recruitment for the 2017 season, after previously committing to Louisville in February of this year.

His statement, which he released on Twitter, is below:

One can only speculate as to why he decided to reopen his recruiting. Three defensive backs have already committed to Louisville in the 2017 class, but Jallow would be the most highly rated by a fairly wide margin. He has received offers from six schools total, including Kansas and Iowa State, and has officially visited just UTEP (who hasn't extended an offer) and Louisville.

The 6-foot-1, 205 pound prospect currently plays cornerback at East Mississippi Community College and is ranked No. 7 in the nation at the cornerback positions by 247Sports.

Last year he recorded 24 tackles and an interception as a senior at Olive Branch High School in Mississippi.
