Kevin Ware has become a great example of how a star athlete can handle adversity. Ware's insistance that the team focus on the game right after his horrific injury is something that will be talked about for ages on Louisville's campus.
Ware has remained positive throughout the entire ordeal, repeatedly stating how he'll be back next season ready to play, but that the focus should be on this year's team and its goals. He's been appreciative of all of the support from basketball fans around the nation, and gave one of the most emotional ESPN interviews we've ever seen.
He also opened up to Fox News' Shepard Smith, telling him that when he looked at his leg, he thought it looked like a "scene from Texas Chainsaw Massacre".
