An encouraging video of Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater has surfaced today.
Bridgewater is still rehabbing from the horrific left leg injury he suffered in training camp last summer, which cost him the entire 2016 season. This morning, a video turned up on Reddit, and it appeared to show Bridgewater dropping back and throwing passes during a workout.
Here's the video, courtesy of FOX Sports' Cameron DaSilva.
The bionic-looking brace on the left leg made it clear this was probably Bridgewater. DaSilva was able to confirm it was indeed the former Louisville star, thanks to an alert screengrab from LetsTalkVikings.com's Nareg Bostanian.
Yesterday, USA TODAY's Tom Pelissero said Bridgewater is running in a pool and doing "non-weight bearing things" according to Vikes head coach Mike Zimmer.
Considering how brutal Bridgewater's injury was, this is great to see. Hopefully he is able to continue making progress.
