A Louisville TV station proved it could improvise in a big way on Saturday.
Yesterday was Louisville football's annual spring game, and while it was of course open to the public, there were some media restrictions.
For instance, no filming was allowed. That made things tough for local station WLKY, which couldn't provide B-roll for its segment on the game.
So what did they do instead? They made stick figure renderings, that's what. Check out the video below to view the "action" and to get a look at Bobby Petrino as you've never seen him before.
This is tremendous creativity. We approve.
Now that Louisville's spring game is over, Cards fans will have to wait until Sept. 2 for a chance to see their team in action. That's when UL opens its season up against Purdue.
That game will surely be on TV.
