A "Fire Al Golden, Save The U" Banner Is Flying Above Sun Life Stadium Today

Miami head coach Al Golden is not a popular man among Hurricanes fans. He's 25-18 during his time as Miami's coach, the squad is 3-3 this year, and his hot seat is on fire. This was supposed to be a big year for the Hurricanes, but so far, the team hasn't looked very good.

Some Miami fans decided that they wanted to express their displeasure towards Golden before the Hurricanes' game against Cincinnati today. The fans paid for a plane to fly above Sun Life Stadium with the banner "Fire Al Golden, Save The U." The banner appears to have been purchased by someone associated with WestEndZone, a Miami online forum.

Golden could certainly use a win today to help alleviate some of the criticism he has received recently. You can watch the contest between the Hurricanes and the Bearcats on ESPN3.
