Butch Davis Wants To Be "Considered" For Miami Heading Coaching Job

Miami will likely be looking at dozens of candidates to fill its now-vacant heading coaching role. But someone who has already had the job wants it back. Butch Davis, who coached the Hurricanes from 1995 to 2000, wants to be considered for the position.

Davis, who also coached in the college ranks at North Carolina from 2007 to 2010 before being fired following an academic misconduct scandal, told listeners on 790 The Ticket that he'd be up for the job.
