Former Miami LB Jermaine Grace Makes Falcons Roster After Going Undrafted

Despite pretty extreme odds against him, Jermaine Grace made the cut for the Atlanta Falcons' 53-man roster.

Making it onto an NFL roster as an undrafted free agent isn't the easiest road, but somehow, former Miami linebacker Jermaine Grace was able to get it done.

According to the Miami Herald, Grace was informed earlier that he had made the cut and would be a part of the Atlanta Falcons' 53-man roster.

It's incredible news for a player whose odds of making it into the league were minuscule after his dismissal from the team last fall.

Grace didn't play a single down for the Hurricanes in 2016 after being dismissed from the team for alleged involvement with a luxury rental-car company. Despite being removed from the team, Grace stayed on campus and took classes, instead focusing on school.

After going undrafted in the spring, he got picked up by the Atlanta Falcons, who were apparently impressed by his preseason play. Now, he's on the official roster.
