Miami and Wisconsin are off and running at the New Era Pinstripe Bowl from Yankee Stadium. The Badgers and Hurricanes meet for the second time in as many years and the Hurricanes are looking to avenge last year's Orange Bowl loss to the Badgers.

Things could be going better for the Hurricanes.

Wisconsin jumped out to an early 7-0 lead on its first drive. Miami quarterback Malik Rosier then threw an interception on his very first pass that led to yet another Wisconsin touchdown.

The Badgers currently lead 14-0 after just five minutes of play.

Here's what the total yardage stats looked like before Miami's second drive of the game:

  • Wisconsin: 72 yards
  • Miami: -2 yards

The Hurricanes finally found their mojo on the second drive and picked up a few first downs before getting stopped on a third-and-short.

The cold weather appears to be working on Wisconsin's favor so far tonight. Some good news for Miami, not many people showed up to watch.

The game is on ESPN.
