"Make Miami Great Again - Butch Davis 2016" Banner Seen Flying Over FAU Stadium

Miami head coach Al Golden isn't quite yet on the hot seat this season, given his team's 45-0 opening week victory against Bethune-Cookman. But there are still a number of Hurricanes fans who want the program to move in a different direction - as soon as next year. Friday night, ahead of Miami's contest against Florida Atlantic, a plane carrying a banner that reads "Make Miami Great Again - Butch Davis 2016" was seen flying over FAU Stadium. Dozens of reporters tweeted photos:

Oddly enough, this isn't the first time that fans have called for Golden's job via this method.

In five years at the helm, Golden has posted a pedestrian 29-22 record with the Hurricanes. Last year, Davis suggested on a radio show that he'd be open to returning to the position, which he held from 1995-2000.
