Mark Richt was named ACC Coach of the Year on Tuesday.

Miami head coach Mark Richt, who helped guide the program to a 10-1 record and an ACC title game appearance, has been voted as the league's Coach of the Year. Richt got 41 of the 59 votes - far in front of Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney, who came in second with 10 votes.

Richt's Hurricanes will play Swinney's Tigers on Saturday for the ACC title.

Richt, in two years at Miami, has posted a 19-5 record with a 12-4 mark in the ACC. If he can get Miami into the College Football Playoff, he'll instantly become a legend for the program.
