With only a few days away until kickoff between Miami and Georgia Tech, the Hurricanes have announced their starting quarterback for this Saturday.
Two weeks ago, Miami lost Jarren Williams to a shoulder injury against Virginia Tech. N’Kosi Perry filled in for the freshman quarterback, throwing for over 400 yards and four touchdowns in a losing effort.
In his first start of the season, Perry led the Hurricanes to a win over Virginia. He didn’t have an outstanding performance, but he did just enough to give his team the edge.
Miami is going to need another strong outing from Perry this weekend as the team just announced that he’ll be the starter for Week 8 against Georgia Tech.

Georgia Tech is in the midst of an abysmal year under head coach Geoff Collins. The Yellow Jackets have lost a few embarrassing games this season, which includes a stunning loss to The Citadel.
It’ll be interesting to see how Miami manages its quarterbacks moving forward, especially if Perry leads the team to consecutive wins.
The Hurricanes have high hopes for Williams, who started the first five games of the season. However, the program could ride the hot hand if Perry keeps playing well.
Kickoff for the Miami-Georgia Tech game is at 12 p.m. ET from Hard Rock Stadium.
