The debate over player compensation in college football has heated up this offseason, to say the least. As such, the on-campus bookstore at The University of Miami has taken a bold, new approach this year in selling jerseys ahead of college football season. New to this year's collection is a football jersey with no number on the front or the back.
That being said, if you would like to buy a jersey with a number and name on it, two bookstore employees confirmed that you can still order a customized version.
Only time will tell if more schools take on this approach or if it ends up being a one-time deal.
