Update: Dingle has made the news official, tweeting a photo of himself and head coach Mark Richt making the school’s famous “U” hand gesture.

Earlier: It’s all good right now for the Miami Hurricanes. The basketball team is currently fending off Wichita State in the second round of the NCAA Tournament, and the football team just landed a huge commitment. Four-star wide receiver Kevaughn Dingle, who plays for Miami Carol City, chose the Hurricanes over Arkansas, Tennessee, Notre Dame, Cincinnati and others. While he hasn’t tweeted the news himself, he’s retweeted a number of posts regarding the topic. 247 Sports appears to have been the first to drop the news.
Jorge Baez, Miami’s on-campus recruiting director, also essentially confirmed the news via Twitter.

Dingle is a three-star recruit on 247 Sports, but a four-star composite. He’s Miami’s 11th commit for the 2017 class.
