Last weekend, the Miami Hurricanes took care of business against the Florida State Seminoles. Next up on the schedule for Manny Diaz’s squad is a showdown with the Louisville Cardinals.
Jarren Williams missed a few weeks of action earlier this season due to a shoulder injury after winning the Week 1 starting job. Although N’Kosi Perry filled in admirably for the redshirt freshman, the Hurricanes ultimately returned to Williams once he returned to full strength.
Well, the talented quarterback delivered the goods last Saturday against Florida State. Williams completed 21-of-37 pass attempts for 313 yards and two touchdowns.
The Hurricanes have to feel confident heading into Week 11, but the Cardinals are also playing great football as of late.
Outside of a loss to Clemson, Louisville has looked impressive in recent weeks against quality opponents, such as Wake Forest and Virginia. Head coach Scott Satterfield has handled the transition from Appalachian State to the Power Five program quite well.
