Sun Life Stadium, which currently hosts both the Miami Dolphins and the Miami Hurricanes, is currently getting a $350 million facelift over the next few years. When it's complete in 2016, it will include new seats, new suites, new concourses and concessions, new video boards and a new canopy to provide shade for the majority of fans. It's a serious renovation project - one that Miami hopes will make it a great candidate for a number of major sporting events.
Much of the marketing for the project thus far has been focused on the Dolphins. Monday, the Hurricanes put out a hype video to celebrate the renovations. It features some Miami-themed visuals as well as team highlights. Check it out:
Miami has struggled in recent years to put fans in the stands. Hopefully the renovations help the program fix that problem.
