Miami vs. Florida State will be played as scheduled despite issues from Hurricane Matthew, according to Miami athletic director Blake James.
James took to Twitter this afternoon to confirm that Saturday's huge rivalry game between the Hurricanes and Seminoles is on as scheduled.
This game is a huge one for Miami fans, as their 'Canes attempt to snap a six-game losing streak against their hated rivals. Miami last beat FSU in 2009 38-34. Since, the 'Noles have owned the series by an average score of 33.5-20.
Undefeated Miami actually enters the game as a four-point favorite in this one. Florida State has lost twice already this season: the huge blow-out loss to Louisville a few weeks ago, and last weekend's dramatic last second loss to the North Carolina Tar Heels.
The game is set to kick off at 8:00 p.m. E.T. from Hard Rock Stadium on Saturday. For our full preview and score prediction for Miami vs. Florida State, click here.
