Here are the updated odds, per 538.

The Miami Hurricanes were upset by the Pitt Panthers today, 24-14, and now sit at 10-1 on the season. As a result, the Hurricanes saw their playoff aspirations take a huge hit, and according to FiveThirtyEight, their chances of making the playoff have been cut nearly in half.

With the loss, Miami's playoff chances went from 59% to 32%, putting them behind Wisconsin and Georgia—both teams that have yet to play their final regular season game in which they're each heavy favorites. Not to mention Auburn and Ohio State could make up ground on the Hurricanes with wins as well.

And while the loss isn't necessarily catastrophic, it does put the Hurricanes in quite a tough spot.

With just one game remaining—the ACC conference championship versus Clemson—Miami is in a must-win scenario if the Hurricanes want to find themselves back in the top four.
