New Miami uniforms, based on the program's classic look from the 1980s and 1990s, were unveiled on Monday evening.

Fans of the program through the years are likely very excited by these new "Legends of the U" threads, as they are with the direction of the undefeated Hurricanes under new head coach Mark Richt.

He was on the mic for the unveiling of the new uniforms on Monday, in front of a pumped group of Miami fans. It helps that they're reminiscent of the most dominant era of Miami football. The players seem to be pretty thrilled with the work adidas did with these as well.

Things are rolling in Coral Gables so far this season. Miami is 3-0, and dominated an Appalachian State team that gave Tennessee everything it can handle on the road. The 'Canes are yet to face a power conference opponent yet, however. That ends next weekend after Miami's Week 4 bye, with a trip to Atlanta to face the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. On October 8, Miami hosts hated rival Florida State.

We'll find out what the 2016 Hurricanes are made of soon enough. No matter what, they should look pretty good in these new uniforms though.
