Photos: Miami Gets Both Schutt Camera Helmet And Riddell Speed Flex Helmet

This college football offseason, we've seen two major trends emerge regarding what players will be wearing on their heads in 2013-2014. One - numerous programs have purchased Schutt vision helmets with cameras to help quarterbacks and other position players make better decisions on the field. Two - as we saw via Arkansas head coach Bret Bielema last week, some schools are moving to Riddell Speed Flex lids that are considered safer and help determine whether or not a player has suffered a concussion during a game.

Well, today we learned that Miami (FL) has hopped on both bandwagons.

It's likely that should both of these new helmets actually produce desired results, almost every squad in the country will follow suit. After all, what team doesn't want to be more efficient and have its players be safer?
