The University of Miami has been working on a new complex for student athletes dedicated to both athletics and academics. The Theodore G. Schwartz and Todd G. Schwartz Center for Athletic Excellence, recently competed, has a brand new locker room, a players lounge, academic learning centers, a sports medicine facility, and a Gallery of Champions.
But today, we learned something else pretty interesting, via the South Florida Sun Sentinel's Michael Casagrande - the locker room is named after Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

The Gallery of Champions:
Johnson, who rose to fame through his professional wrestling career, was a part of the 1991 National Champion Miami football team. Since graduating from the school in 1995, he has donated money to the program on numerous occasions. "The Rock" donated money for the Hurricanes' new locker room back in 2007.
