Under Al Golden, Miami was very successful in landing commitments early on in recruiting cycles. While that didn't always translate directly to wins, Miami fans would love for the program to ramp up efforts to keep top players from the area at The U, and Mark Richt just picked up a verbal pledge from one of the top players in the area for the 2018 class. According to reports, four-star wide receiver Warren Thompson has committed to Miami.
