Report: Multiple Miami Commits Want Alabama Assistant Mario Cristobal Named Head Coach

A couple Miami football recruits have offered up their opinion on who should be the Hurricanes' next coach.

Their choice: Mario Cristobal.

According to Ryan Bartow of 247 Sports, Miami 2017 four-star tight end commit Kemore Gamble and 2016 four-star defensive end commit Joseph Jackson both want the Alabama offensive line coach to take over in Coral Gables, Fla.

Cristobal, 45, is a former player at Miami. He served as an assistant coach for the Hurricanes from 2004-06. The Miami native has been at Alabama since 2013.
