The former Miami standout is going to get paid. A lot.
A third-round pick in 2014, Brandon Linder has started 32 games for the Jaguars over three seasons. He’s missed some time with injuries but apparently Jacksonville likes what it has seen from the former Hurricane.
Today, Linder became the highest-paid center in NFL history.
He is set to sign a five-year, $51.7 million extension, according to NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport.

PFF graded Linder as its No. 5 center in 2016, so it looks like the Jags feel they are extending an ascending player.

Congrats to Linder on the big payday.
