4-Star CB Trajan Bandy Commits To Miami

Trajan Bandy, a four-star cornerback out of Miami, will play college ball for his hometown Hurricanes. The former Oklahoma commit made the decision today, after decommitting from the Sooners back on July 19.

Bandy, a lifelong Miami fan, tells 247Sports that his recruitment is now closed.

“I will no longer be interested in any other school,” Bandy said. “I will be attending the University of Miami.”

The Christopher Columbus High School star is ranked No. 29 among all class of 2017 cornerbacks, and No. 38 in the state of Florida. He chose Miami over Oklahoma, Penn State, South Carolina, Tennessee, and USC. He holds scholarship offers from 36 schools.

Bandy has been actively retweeting many stories about his new commitment. He also hinted at it on Sunday afternoon.

With his commitment, Miami now has 20 class of 2017 commitments, including fellow Columbus four-star cornerback Christopher Henderson. The 'Canes class is ranked No. 8 in the nation, and No. 1 in the ACC.

He is the third corner to join Miami's class.
