Van Dyke picked the Hurricanes after reportedly taking a secret visit to campus last week. He held over 20 scholarship offers in total.

"I appreciate all the time and effort from all the coaches that have recruited me," Van Dyke said on Twitter. "Thank you to Coach Diaz and Coach Enos and the rest of the Miami coaching staff for this opportunity. I am committing to the University of Miami."
