N.C. State Lands Utah's Devon Daniels, 2nd Transfer Addition Of The Day

When N.C. State tips off the 2018-19 season, it will have two serious impact players making their Wolfpack debuts. Both announced they're joining the program today. The latest: Utah's Devon Daniels.

Daniels, a 6-foot-5 guard coming off of a solid freshman season, announced his transfer to the Wolfpack this afternoon. The Battle Creek, Michigan native chose Kevin Keatts' program over San Diego State.

As a freshman at Utah, Daniels averaged 9.9 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.7 assists. He shot 57.1-percent from the field last season, and was a 40-percent three-point shooter.

Daniels is the second player to announce his commitment to the Wolfpack today, joining UNC-Wilmington transfer C.J. Bryce, who is coming over with Keatts. He averaged 17.4 points per game for the Seahawks last season, en route to a 12-seed in the NCAA Tournament. Both players will sit out next season and be eligible to play starting in 2018-2019.

It is a pretty good day to be an N.C. State fan, which is something Wolfpack fans haven't been able to say much over the last few years.
