Photos: NC State vs. Notre Dame Is Basically Being Played In A Hurricane

NC State vs. Notre Dame: Hurricane Matthew hasn't fully hit North Carolina, but it is certainly making its presence known at Carter-Finley Stadium.

Last year, when Notre Dame traveled to Clemson, conditions weren't exactly perfect. This year's trip to the Carolinas is going about the same for the Fighting Irish. ND's second ever game against the NC State Wolfpack is basically being played in a hurricane. The conditions are pretty crazy.

With just over a minute left in the first quarter, the Wolfpack lead the Fighting Irish 3-0. NC State has had success moving the ball, but after having a touchdown pass called back on an ineligible player downfield penalty, NC State missed a short field goal on their first drive. A moment ago, they successful kicked a 38-yard field goal on the ensuing drive, but it was ugly.

If you bet on this one, we hope you have the under. Even with a team like Notre Dame, which scores and surrenders points by the bushel, scoring is going to be tough to come by with conditions like this.
