Brice Johnson And Marcus Paige To Have Jerseys Hung From Rafters At Dean Dome On Saturday

Brice Johnson and Marcus Paige—the two senior leaders of last season's national runner-up North Carolina Tar Heels—will have their jerseys hung from the rafters at the Dean Dome on Saturday.

North Carolina has a huge home game against ACC rival Virginia, during which Johnson and Paige will be honored.

UNC posted a sneak peak at Paige's No. 5 and Johnson's No. 11 hanging up at the Dean Dome on Instagram.

Paige was a second team-All American for UNC as a sophomore in 2014, as well as a first team All-ACC performer. He emerged from a lengthy shooting slump during most of his senior season to lead Carolina to the national championship game, during which he dropped 21 points, including what would have been the game-winning basket with under five second left, if not for Kris Jenkins' buzzer beater for Villanova. He was a second round NBA draft pick by the Brooklyn Nets, but was quickly traded to the Utah Jazz, and now plays in the D-League for the Salt Lake City Stars.

Johnson broke out as a monster performer for the Tar Heels last season, averaging 17 points, 10.4 rebounds, and 1.5 per game. He was a consensus All-American, and went on to be a first round pick by the Los Angeles Clippers.

North Carolina vs. Virginia tips off at 8:15 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on ESPN.
